We are in the process of creating a new framework built using Kohana 3.3 with ORM (Database abstraction) and Kostache (Mustache templating). Kohana is an open source, object oriented MVC web framework built using PHP5 by a team of volunteers that aims to be swift, secure, and small.
We have a free open source persistent browser based web game (PBBG) framework available at the downloads area. All our work is licensed under the BSD license and can be used legally for any open source, commercial, or personal project.
